Why are you cheaper than other websites offering similar services?
Other websites offering services similar to ours are normally part of a larger web company with much higher overheads. We are a small design studio and keep overheads to a minimum. This way we can keep our fees low.
How do we choose the name of our website?
The name of your website is entirely up to you although we will be happy to guide you when making your decision. Many couples like to use just their Christian names in the title (i.e. www.leeandcindy.co.uk), others might choose something like www.the-jones-wedding.co.uk.
Although we will make every effort to obtain the domain you are looking for, it is of course subject to availability. If we can't secure the exact name you require we will liaise with you to find the most suitable alternative.
Who will own my domain name?
YOU. Unlike other companies we will register your domain in your name. This way the domain name belongs entirely to you. You can transfer your domain name away from www.wedding-online.co.uk any time you wish.
How does the design process work?
As soon as you purchase one of our wedding websites we will send you a short form to filll out by email. This is where you can provide us with the information and/or photographs you wish to appear on your site. Once you send this form back we will start to put your site together. You wil be given the opportunity to preview your website live on the internet and inform us of any changes you would like us to make. When these changes have been made and you are happy, the design process is complete.
How will I send you my photographs?
The quickest and easiest way to send us your photos and information is by email. Photographs should be in a JPEG format. Alternatively you can send us the hard copies of your pictures and we will scan them for you.
How long does the design process take?
We like to allow ourselves 10 days to complete your site. However, it will often be possible to complete the process in a much shorter time-scale.
How long will my web package last?
Upon ordering your wedding website your site will remain active for two years. If you wish for your site to remain active for longer than this then please contact us and we can arrange something with you.
What If I order the "Post wedding photo gallery" or RSVP form?
If you order the photo gallery, simply contact us after your wedding and we will include a gallery of up to thirty of your wedding photos.
If you order the RSVP form as part of your website it will be included as an additional page. Your guests fill out a simple online form and the information will be sent directly to an email address of your choice.
